Just climbed the Mount of Olives over which Jesus easily could have escaped into the vast wilderness (now in sight) to the east. From here however, and only days before his horrific death, he descended down and into Jerusalem riding on a colt. As he entered the city, there was a spontaneous eruption of celebration, praising the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as the mass of everyday people shouted, Hossana, blessed is he who comes in the Name of Hashem!
