Just did some more searching on Vetsin. And this is what I came up with : Chinese restaurant syndrome: A syndrome first described in 1968 in people who had eaten Chinese food on which MSG (monosodium glutamate) had been lavished. The syndrome only seems to occur in some people. Their symptoms may include : Severe pulsing headache Flushing Central chest pain Tingling in back Tingling in neck Burning sensation in back Burning sensation in neck Sensation of facial pressure Sensation of facial tightness Sensation of facial swelling Angor animi Sweating Numbness around mouth Burning around mouth Large amounts of MSG may cause arterial dilatation (widening of arteries). Many Chinese do not believe in the existence of the Chinese restaurant syndrome. It may be a hypersensitive (allergic) reaction. And once again I am one of the some people, just like my form of MS. So I must be unique. And guess what ? It sucks !!!!
