Just ended the call with my Grandmom! I talk to her everyday and go visit as well! It just breaks me down that the she feels alone! She feels her family doesnt care about her..........That dementia is something else! After sitting back thinking...... I should be super Happy because she called me and wanted to hear my voice......She told me she trust me and I am the only person she can depend on! She told me not to cry because Grandmom gonna be okay......To hear my Grandmom tell me she needed me to be strong for her and pray for her just crushed me into tears! I say all that to say FAMILY FIRST! KEEP IN TOUCH WITH THE ELDERLY IN YOUR FAMILY.....HEY THEY PAVED THE WAY FOR US....I KNOW SOME MAY HAVE SICKNESS THAT YOU MAY FEEL YOU CANT DEAL WITH IT.... BUT YOU MUST REMEMBER THEY HAVE FEELINGS TOO... THEY WANT LOVE, MOTIVATION, AND MOST OF ALL ENCOURAGEMENT TO KEEP ON LIVING! I CHALLENGE YOU ALL TODAY TO REACH OUT TO THE ELDERLY IN YOUR FAMILY WITH A PHONE CALL OR VISIT JUST TO SEE HOW THEY ARE TODAY AND HOW THEY ARE FEELING! DONT WAIT TILL THEY PASS TO SHOW YOU CARE TODAY IS THAT DAY! WHO IS GONNA ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE!
