Just for the record, Mr. Shusters proof of his accusations doesnt exist. The two farms he posted records from do not belong to us in whole or in part. One belongs to Arts cousin and the other is the farmer who pays to rent our land. We do not get even a dime in subsidies, though increased ethanol subsidies have increased the price of land. That has benefited us but hurt the small farmer. The CREP program we completed on our homestead was already in effect when we bought it. We checked into canceling it but found we would have to pay back all monies the previous owner had received plus penalties so we simply let it run out and did not renew it. It would appear that Mr. Shuster finds facts and truth inconvenient things. He is showing far more about his character than the man he is dishonestly attacking.
