Just got home from our trip to Memphis. Omg, I cant even begin to tell you what a blast we had. We hung out with our amazing friend Gene Mason (Elviss friend) every night and also Ben Cauley (trumpet player) in Otis Reddings band, Ben was the only one that survived the plane crash that killed Otis Redding and his entire band the Bar-Kays on Dec 10th 1967. Ben is an amazing trumpet player that has played with so many great artists just a few are Elvis, Michael Jackson, The Tempations,Jackie Wilson,James Brown, BJ Thomas, Rod Steward, Neil Diamond, The Doobie Bros.,Cher, BB King, Little Richard, Stevie Wonder and many many more. We also hung out with Willie Hall that played drums in the Blues brothers Band and was in 31 other movies. Then last night we met BB Kings son, Ken. Plus we saw 3 different awesome Elvis impersonators, and went to Graceland again. Our friend Bill said that was the best birthday he has ever had. We love Memphis.. Life is Good !!!!
