Just had a light bulb moment, not sure why I didnt think of this sooner! Im not a breakfast person so I start each day off with an iced coffee using the Pioneer Womans cold brew method. Well, being a messy person in the kitchen, I always end up with coffee and grounds everywhere. I tried using Mike Nelsons nut milk bag to strain the grounds but the largest pot I have is a stock pot (if you arent familiar with her method, youre making a gallon or so at a time) and it doesnt pour neatly, so it just made a big ol mess. Ive seen Gradys Cold Brew Bean Bags mentioned in a few magazines recently, which are convenient but pricey, and when I saw them today is when the light bulb went off...do a larger version of them by putting the grounds inside the nut milk bag before the brew!!! Then all I have to do is dump them, and the brewed coffee will already be in the storage container! Love discovering little life hacks ;-) Even if I never end up making nut butter this will make it all worth it, LOL. Thanks again for the great deal and great bag Mike!
