The examiner makes an important comment to the NAACP, saying: But if the NAACP is truly nonpartisan, couldnt it have recognized the victories by Love and Scott? Tim Scott, for example, is the first black elected from the South since Reconstruction, and Love is the first black Republican woman elected to Congress.
