Just heard from my old friend AVy of the recent demise of another old friend, Padman (Sunny) Nambiar. Friend from my Bangalore days in what now seems to be a lifetime away. How v sad...... Brings back such great memories of the band in which my sister Paddu used to play with him, "The Barracks Blues Band".... Used to enjoy watching/listening to them jam together, that fun loving, music loving group of theirs! Oh days gone by, a time that shall never return..... May they be playing together in the world outside ours, making beautiful music as the planets whirl by.... Rest in peace, dear Sunny, handsome, talented, charming man! May this serve as a reminder to me to never take friends and loved ones for granted, for who knows how long we have with them........."The moving finger writes, and having writ, moves on......"
