Just in case of some confusion.... I am in the race for Department 11 to WIN! For some reason several individuals have contacted me to ask why I quit the race. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I AM GOING FOR THE GOLD on November 4th, and need your help to spread the word. You can help in several ways: 1. Compose an email to everyone you know in Washoe County asking them to support me and to tell their friends by forwarding your email. 2. Join me some afternoon or weekend to deliver materials to doors of Washoe County voters. Every door we walk means 50 cents my opponent will need to spend in mailings just to keep up. 3. Help us call folks who have requested absentee ballots, remind them to vote and ask for their support for my race. These are easy calls, as many are delighted to speak with a high energy person who is involved in the process. Either that or it is a quick answering machine message.
