Just posted... A Message from Our Pastor–Mar. 16, 2014 on our website. Check it out! ift.tt/1iVWsv5 Dear Holy Apostles Parish Family, Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Even Fr. Ruben is Irish this weekend. This is definitely the high holy day for Feargal. It has been a busy few weeks. I am excited to find out that for the first time in awhile we will have two sections of kindergarten at Montini. We also will be interviewing for principal soon. Our meeting this past week was postponed until we have a new principal in place, figure out how many students we’ll have and see what staff that will be needed next year. We will definitely start our strategic planning process in the fall to look at the challenges that face our school in the near future. I am very excited to see John Jelinek coming back home from Mayo in such good shape. He has been an amazing witness of faith to us all. We have been blessed by Joe Filpi and many of the teens who stepped up to provide retreats and not miss a beat while John has been healing. St. Baldrick’s Community Shave was a wonderful experience once again. Congratulations to our team for raising somewhere around $30,000. Barb and Nora have led us in total funds raised with Larry from preschool inspiring us. It is amazing that we had people age 3 through 80+ all working together. I am always humbled, inspired and energized by this experience. I also lost about 1/3 of a pound (of hair), which is a plus. Fr. Ruben lost about 2 pounds. We had fathers and grandfathers with sons and grandsons, and sisters and daughters—16 women on the team, which is a real sacrifice for them. Have a blessed Week!
