Just read a great quote that I have to share: I was an article about the church and theology. It speaks about how often our churches, and pastors, do not stand up against bad theology for the sake of keeping members happy and comfortable. The writer went on to say, But God wants a thinking Bride, not a lazy housewife. When trash is brought into the church, whether in its theology or practice, we have become nothing more than lazy housewives allowing Gods House to become cluttered with things that are, not only unnecessary, but potentially harmful! We need to take out in trash that we have allowed to accumulate both in Gods house and in Gods people. That is what makes us good stewards of what God has given us, and makes the Church a livable house for His Children, and a welcome place for guests (to hopefully be adopted into His family as well).
