Just returned from our trip to the USA. The kids had no idea they were going on a holiday, until they arrived at the airport and saw their bags. Great time in Texas, staying with our friends and meeting up with the Lone Star Early Ford V8 club. Then onto California for whatever the kids wanted to do - Disneyland, LEGOLAND, Universal, Hollywood. After enduring all the rides, Steve had just enough energy left to drag himself to the Petersen Automotive Museum in LA. Went with 3 bags, came home with 7 !! Yeh, gone back to work to get some rest. (passport now full of stamps - with Fiji, Hawaii, Middle East countries and now this - past three years have been pretty good). Thanks to all who kept our holiday a secret from the kids. The only problem was, when it was actually time to get on the plane to come home, the kids didnt buy this, their response was yeh sure, were not going home, which country are we going to next?. 8 hours into the flight home, reality kicked in.
