Just saw this baby on a plane story in the Washington Post Travel chat. Would a crying baby or fussy toddler near you on a plane bother you less if this happened, and if you travel with a baby or toddler would you consider trying this? A passenger reported that when people sat down on the flight a couple passed around baggies of treats (candy, etc.) to people around them and also a note inside. The note explained that they were taking their baby on her first trip and wanted to apologize in advance for any noise! The baby was fine, but if she wasnt he was sure inclined to give her a pass, since the parents obviously were considerate!
