Just seen Hunger Games part 1 Mockingjay in cinema so here is a review: picking up where Catching Fire left off, Katniss Everdeen is rescued from the games by rebels from District 13 and together they plan to unite the districts to rebel against the capital. Once again like with Harry Potter and Twilight, the final book of a popular series is split into 2 parts to squeeze out an extra film for greedy, desperate studios. No games this time round though still some action and good performances from Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Jeffrey Wright, Liam Hutchinson, Donald Sutherland who is now the series full fledged main villain after a brief cameo in the original film, Stanley Tucci, Julianne Moore and Phillip Seymour Hoffman in his final role as he died in the middle of filming this and part 2. Strictly for fans only but very enjoyable if you are a fan of this very enjoyable franchise with an inevitable cliffhanger. 8 out of 10.
