Just sitting here reflecting on this past Friday evening... I went to pick up a take out Kale salad. As I pulled into the parking lot I saw a young teenage girl who looked like she was homeless or possibly a runaway. Her clothes were very dirty and torn and she was eating a hamburger that someone had bought her from the In & Out Burger place where she was sitting in the parking lot. It has been unusually cold here in California, for this holiday season, and in some places it has even snowed where they have never seen snow before. I immediately pulled up to her and asked her if she would like my jacket? She jumped up and said, desperately, Sure! I then handed her my jacket and $20 the only cash I had on me. She smiled and thanked me. She quickly put on the jacket and sat back down to finish her burger. I asked he if she was going to to be ok and she said yes... So I said a quick prayer and drove to pick up my dinner. Life is not all about us. Some just need a little helping hand. #giveback
