Just some FYI today...Ive always enjoyed baseball and keeping up with the numbers and stats within the game. With that being said, its no secret by now of Miguel Cabreras record breaking contract. He is truly one hell of a player and carries himself well! For the that whopping figure of $292,000,000 over 10 years, this is what he gets....an average MLB player without injury can accumulate roughly 500 at bats per season. That means this man every time he steps to the plate earns $58,400 and with a 4 at bat per game average, his one game earnings equals $233,600! Must be nice!!!!
