Just some random insight. It is often hard to find a balance sometimes as a publisher. And, sometimes it has nothing to do with whether or not an editor personally likes a poem or not, or whether it is completely on theme. It does not always do a poem (or a poet for that matter) justice if what has been submitted does not blend appropriately with what has been submitted by others. And how would a contributor know what has been submitted? They dont. Sometimes submitting poetry is planting an exotic in a field of daisies, a shot into the ether by some rifle shot. It is a pipe-dream in a tornado, a funnel cloud of doubt, a wondrous dream of love and dedication. Please try and understand an alternate challenge and always find faith in your craft. Continue to learn from experience, you will become wiser for it the world always needs wiser, and kindness. Always try to be kind.
