Just spun the wheel with a Priceline room for South Park. Had a locked-in res at Comfort Inn 4 miles away for $154, including taxes. Then decided to take a shot with Priceline, and got Holiday Inn Express for $114, including taxes. It saved me about $80, and I like Holiday Inn Express way better, but the hotel is 12 miles from the track, as opposed to 4 (I like to go back and chill during those rain delays). You make the call: Good or Bad Travel Karma? *Comfort Inn reservation is still in effect if anyone needs it. I am going to cancel it at noon if not. $308 for Fri and Sat night. Why the heck are hotels so expensive in that part of town?
