Just stumbled across this group yesterday and wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Matt here. 36yo married male in Indiana United States. Outside of my family, I have never met anyone who has RP. It can be quite lonely when people cant relate with the struggles I face day to day, hour to hour. Luckily, I married an amazing woman who is not only accepting of my limitations, but also very helpful in helping me get around. Long story short, I am comforted by reading a lot of these posts and comments. I obviously dont wish RP on anyone, but it is nice to know that I am not the only person who has issues finding the right pair of sunglasses, has extreme difficulty walking into dark buildings on a sunny day, needs help reading the menu at new restaurants, getting kicked out of bars because i walked into somebody, and am constantly stepping/tripping over my dogs though they are pretty good about getting out of daddys way when I start walking LOL. I am glad I found you guys and girls.
