As Andrew Goddard states in his reply, there were many things which the Nazis did between 1934 and 1939, which were not associated with death camps It is not uncommon for people to associate Nazis with the death camps, however they were only a fragment of Nazi history and were a result of a long string of events. During the period between 1934 and 1939, The Nazis gradually brought in new laws and new institutions. One of which was the Secret courts, or Peoples court. These as Mr Goddard stated targetted individuals who were deemed to be disabled, or accused of mental health problems, or who were simply opponents of the State. I will use a quote from Mr Goddards post at this point. They also introduced secret courts, mass adoption or forced adoption of children with learning difficulties children - (ring a bell now does it ). They were termed weak of mind with low moral capacity. Next forced sterilisation took place to prevent any more children by these people :- Mr Goddards post then goes on to say:- I know of one case where social worker suggested a client should do just that. The secret courts, Mr Goddard is refferring to, as I said above, became known as the peoples court, these were established in 1934 and were overseen by a single judge. Whilst the evidence against the plaintiffs was created, manufactured, falsified or engineered as suited. All in order to provide a satisfactory outcome and secure the case for the Authorities concerned. Whilst the defence ultimately remained silent, was superficial, or decidedly biased in its performance. There can be no doubt that the family courts today, behave in a similar manner. After all, have not hundreds of people stated that the evidence used against them has been untrue, dishonest, unreliable or engineered fabricated and falsified? That statements provided into court by the authorities have been inaccurate. That conversations have been distorted and that false allegations of mental health illness have been made? All to benefit the case of the authorities. Only in this case it is the Local Authorities? It needs to be said of course that instead of execution, which was the general result of the Peoples court, that todays family courts, simply remove children. None the less that is dreadful enough, especially if it has been done unjustly. The two entities are unfortunately share similarities. Of course I would not expect any professional to accept that, but it is worth remembering just who was in charge of these courts during the 1934 - 1939 period. Yes, they too were run by professionals. I am sorry, but this is deeply worrying. At no time though was I intending to either detract from or insult the victims of this period, who suffered the most dreadful of atrocities, far from it and I think you were rather intending to use that as a smokescreen. I say this as I believe you to be intelligent enough to know your history. My comparison, comes from the period prior to the period you refer to and I am sorry to say, the Family Courts very much appear to be following in the same footsteps as the Peoples court did. This is of course is dependent on whether you believe that those who are raising their voices against the family courts in this group are telling the truth. However, I most certainly have seen evidence which bears witness, that what has been stated many, many times here is a truthful and accurate appraisal of what people have gone through and the severe emotional distress they have suffered as a result. I hope this clears up my position on this matter.
