(Karen) Today I would like to acknowledge the strength and love Ive seen in women for whom breastfeeding has not worked out. It is a huge testament to these women just how long they continue with breastfeeding under usually extremely difficult circumstances that would challenge the strongest of people. I want to acknowledge their bravery, determination and their tenacity. I want to acknowledge the sheer love and devotion they express toward their babies in their actions and words. I want to acknowledge their courage in telling their story in an often less than supportive world. I want to acknowledge their support, love and care toward other women who have had similar experiences. So I am sending lots of love to you today. You are truly amazing. I value you and I want to tell you, you have so much to offer the world! What is it you appreciate and want to acknowledge as a strength in yourself or other women on this page specifically within the experience of breastfeeding not working out
