Kaththi story leaked Vijay will be seen in a dual role in this movie, one character is a thief (Kathiresan) and the other one (Jeevanandham) will be a mass leader role. This mass leader role character will be dealing with problems of farmers. The thief Kathiresan escapes from Kolkata jail. He then meets up with his close friend Ravi who has made all the arrangements for him to fly safely to Bangkok. But matters are complicated when Kathiresan runs into Ankita (Samantha) and immediately falls in love. In a further twist of fate Kathiresan sees his twin Jeevanandham when he was beaten by someone. Kathiresan saves his brother and admits him in a hospital. Now Kathiresan decides to take on the role of Jeeva. Thief enters into the leader’s role and solves farmer’s issues since the leader character will be arrested by the Police. The farmers land is about to be seized by a real estate magnate, Neil Nitin Mukesh. Kathiresan soon finds himself at the centre of a moral dilemma involving an old people’s home and land belonging to farmers.
