Kericho County Governor HE Paul Chepkwony and his Chief of Staff Charles Kirui landed in London-Heathrow this morning safely. It is reported that they did not have a chance to rest as they had series of meetings to attend at the University of Surrey. The Governor got formal support from the University that is ranked 8th in the UK to boost many sectors of his county government. The University will partner with the County Government in delivery of a Tourist Resort in Londiani and many other projects. The University pledged support and mentoring to University of Kabianga where several Chemistry text books, glassware, equipments were donated to the Governor. The Governor was flanked by the Education Counselor Margaret Lesuuda, several Kericho County scholars living in the UK and other Kenyans. We hope to get photos tomorrow which we will share with you. The Governor will be visiting SACOMA fruit and vegetable market tomorrow morning where he is expected to sign a contract to have Kericho farm produce bought by the market.
