Killer Klowns from outer space. Rated 15 Horror/comedy Mild comic violence,mild language. Minimal gore. 8/10 This is a little fun film from the 80s made to showcase the genius of the Chiodo brothers,whose work includes critters 1&2 and even Ernest scared studid. Intended to be an on going series with 1 released every year or so,sadly not finding its feet till years later with the help of movie rental and DVDs sales.But I stay hopeful 😉 This is a movie about Klowns..... Killer Klowns ...... Killer Klowns from outer space!😂 When a small town is invaded by aliens,who are incasing the locals in cotton candy cocoons and storing them in their big-top spaceship so they can feast on blood with their curly-wurly straws,Its up to a handful of teenagers armed with an ice cream truck to stop them as the local police force as well as the rest of the town refuse to see the danger as the aliens look like clowns👍 Every clown stereotype is made fun of,there are some great gags involving balloon animal,punch and judy,even shadow puppets some will fall flat but there is enough of them that youll find a few that will tickle you in the right places😉.no real gore to speak of as this movie is played for laughs even though parts do tap into the natural creepiness surrounded by clowns.Because they are creepy 😳 Its when the movie hits the 3rd act that it begins to struggle,gettin a little sluggish toward the end (its like the director stopped and said oh shit...how do we end this🙈) But there is enough goin on to keep you amused until the end👍 Pretty decent B-movie definitely worth seeking out and watching 👍👍
