Kimberly Aufderheide asked, Has anyone used Rays Arithmetic? I was gearing up for Saxon, because it has the potential for self-teaching, but with a severe dyslexic/ADD-inattentive child (among 5), I wonder what people might suggest. I know Rays is heavy on READING, but I have to read aloud so much to my 10-year-old son anyway. With math in stories, he can work much in his head, and it will take us through calculus for a very modest price. We are Robinson Curriculum people, encouraging self-teaching and self-discipline (I work part time), with an unschooling bent and Charlotte Mason appreciation. Thanks so much!
