Kitten and I were able to get out and take a long walk through the woods yesterday. It was wonderful to get out in the fresh, if crisp, air and roam around. Kitten was quite excited as well, bouncing ahead of me, meowing. Then I heard this sound. It seemed far away. As I listened, I began to understand what the sound was. I could hear them coming for at least 5 minutes before they reached me. It was breathtaking to watch them pass through in long ribbons! We just watched in awe as they and their chatter reached us, perched for a moment, and then in unison continued on their trek.
