Kriz Cruzado and Sherel Salido Quider have been in the Haiyan-affected area for 8 months now. They have been doing social preparations, relationship building, and organizational-structural foundations for church-based disaster response teams in strategic municipalities and cities. They are currently working on connecting all those teams into a regional church-based Disaster Response Network framed within PBCIs Peace and Reconciliation (PAR) Community Development Program. Were praying that through these respectable pastors and community leaders, Hope would spread out with powerful ripple-effect of the Spirit. These PAR communities will then be integrated into the national constituency of PAR Commission of the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches. Its inspiring to join Kriz and Sherel for two days as they work with local community leaders.
