#LA Council approved my $50,000 #reward motion for information leading to identification, apprehension and conviction of the persons responsible for the shooting death of Herman Johnson. On October 6, 2013 at approximately 6:20 a.m., police responded to a call for an Ambulance Death Investigation at 37th Street and Western Avenue. When the officers arrived, they discovered 74-year old Johnson lying on the sidewalk. Fire Department personnel on scene pronounced Mr. Johnson dead at 7:00 a.m. from a gunshot wound.
