LA ROUTE DU CH’TI is back for the 8th time on September 20th and 21st 2014 on the Armentières lake, one of the biggest meeting of paddle and windsurfers on a lake in the world according to the number of registered people. With team of 2 or 3 people, the competitors (amateur or registered member) will challenge to cover the maximum of lake laps in 5 hours, in paddle or windsurf, starting on Sunday September 21 at 11 am. This year, we expect to break the record of 213 competitors while trying to exceed the number of 300 registered people (It’s only 15 euros to sign in online on routeduchti including a healthy lunch box and an official event t-shirt!) Like every year, it will be a complete week end with 100 competitors for the two Saturday afternoon races: The CH’TI RS ONE CUP (monotype windsurf race on the complimentary equipment provided by Aloha Attitude group.) and the CH’TI PADDLE CUP in stand up puddle. In addition to becoming a really big event in Paddle and Windsurf with a riding gear market all week end, La ROUTE DU CH’TI 2014 introduces a lot of new things this year and in particular 4 new rankings: LES CHALLENGES: LES CHALLENGE’S goal is that companies, or College teams, or sport champions, or handicapped people can compete together on the Paddle and Windsurf 5 hours contest on Sunday. With these 4 new rankings, La ROUTE DU CH’TI is opening for new competitors and on competitors who are not used doing these kinds of sport. Many prizes can be won during the week end: gifts for 10000 euros including 4 trips. These prizes are provided by: - HOTMER LILLE : more than 3000 euros in prizes - BABAOMBY LODGE : Madagascar trip for 2 people. Lottery drawing on Sunday. - FUN & FLY : Gruissan trip for 4 people for the winner of the Sunday 5 hours contest. - CLUB-MISTRAL : 1 week for 2 people in one of the 16 destinations for the winner of the CH’TI RS : ONE CUP on Saturday. - VILLA GRENADINE ESSAOUIRA : One week in Morocco for 4 people for the winner of the CH’TI PADDLE CUP on Saturday. With the famous VIP CH’TI PARTY and the big camp fire on Saturday night, the disco dance floor hosted by DJ’Fredoire and DJ’Thierry, the restaurant/bar, and the possibility to camp on the site, we hope that everyone will enjoy a wonderful sporting, family and fun week end.
