LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s allegations regarding vote recounting in NA-122 are baseless, said Dr. Ali Ayaz Sadiq. “NA-122 recount reaffirms PML-N candidate’s victory with additional 135 votes and it is very frustrating for Imran Khan who has been continuously imposing rigging allegations for months.” Khan, today in a press conference, termed NA-122 vote recount results as ‘revealed massive rigging’. PML-N’s candidate Sadiq’s total vote count was increased by 134, taking his lead to 9,006 from 8,872 after the record of 284 polling stations was verified. Voters’ thumb impressions and national identity cards were also present in the counterfoil, said Ayaz Sadiq’s counsel while addressing media today.
