LAKSHMI & THE ELEPHANT I was talking to Rachael Lanehart - TopicsExpress

LAKSHMI & THE ELEPHANT I was talking to Rachael Lanehart Vaessen about Gaja Lakshmi earlier this morning. Both Lakshmi & Ganesh popped up into my consciousness and said they wanted to say hello. So, in brief, from Hindu mythology, Gaja Lakshmi is born from the Milk Ocean, and she helped Lord Indra regain his lost treasures from the depth of the ocean. This is one of the 8 Auspicious Forms of Goddess Lakshmi, where she acts as bestower and protector of wealth, opulence, elegance and royalty.Hugely popular and sought after, this aspect of Lakshmi is intimately linked with luxury, wealth & nobility of the highest order. This yoga is usually linked with illustrious, virtuous and powerful leaders, royalty, or heads of state. Gaja Lakshmi is usually depicted as a beautiful goddess flanked by two elephants bathing her with water pots. The four-armed Lakshmi sits on a pink lotus, attired in red garments, her two raised arms each holding a lotus, whilst the other two arms being in abhaya and varada mudra. However, I like this image that Rachael found and shared. I am especially drawn to the Fohat (White Cosmic Fire) and all the electric buzz behind these two great pals, because surely this is the cosmic electricity that links all divine consciousness. The veils in our hologram are growing noticeably thinner, so the divine archetypes are much more accessible to global consciousness. The divine beings just pop in and out for visits. Angels, Light Beings, Guides & Sages, gods & goddesses, devic beings, nature and elementals, to name a few. This harkens back to ancient time when gods and humans easily intermingled and had copious exchanges, when the Ladder to Heaven was an open highway to astral traffic. That was a time when human beings (some at least) had more innocence (a great power and medicine), intelligence, and strong intent and pure faith. We read about it in all of our myths--Greek, Chinese, Egyptian, Sumerian, Japanese, Hindu....and it goes on and on. Gods and humans conspired, fought, made love, made fun of each other, and you can be sure there were some wild parties too!
