LEARNIN ART TH CITIFIED WAY Joni and I have been baby sitting Miles while his parents are at a wedding. Its been a ball. One of the things on the agenda was a trip to his art lesson. In part of the program the kids were supposed to stick their hands into goop of some kind and smear it on sheets of paper. Miles would have none of it; no goop for him. As I looked at what was going on I had flash-backs of playing in mud puddles on the farm. It was really fun and cost nothing. Wouldnt mind doing it again; think he would have liked it too. I also put him to bed, which is never easy for a kid like Miles who wants to be up and going. I rocked him; no progress. Everything failed until I hit on the idea of a wrestling match. We lay on the big bed in his room and every time he tried to get off I kept him on the bed. Talk about squirming! Finally, he wore himself out, flopped his head on my chest and fell asleep with th rise and fall of my breathing. Got some pictures to show you (hopefully).
