LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: HB 1279 motor voter preregistration of 16 and 17 year olds made it out of committee and has been referred to Rules. HB 2396 addressing barrier for students to participate in running start had a public hearing and now scheduled for Executive Session on 1/28. HB 2399 establishing a certificate of restoration of opportunity scheduled public hearing 1/31 in House Committee of Public Safety. HB 1651 stop the selling of juvenile records scheduled for public hearing 1/29 in House Appropriation Subcommittee on General Govt and Information Technology.
