LET THERE BE JUSTICE On a sad note, am starting this piece with prayers for the people of Bama, and all those places that their citizens had been subjected to series of hardships as a result of the activities of the boko haram insurgents. It is indeed sad that the town of Bama is now witnessing these barbaric act of senseless killing for no reason whatsoever. But surely Allah is seeing those behind these act of tyrany, and crime against humanity. Allah will not allow them to go scott free, surely there will be judgement day, everyone will be hold accountable to whatever they do. We have suffered enough in the hands of these nehilis, our people have lost everything. Thousands of lives had been lost, properties worth billions of naira had been destroy, not to even mention the psycological traumer that we have been subjected to. Yet those who are papetuating this act have been succeeding in their act of tyranny, for the fact that we have no seriouse govt. Our military have been subjected to reducle in the eyes of the world. The country had never been so emberazed like this, we have become a luaghing stock, leaders who lack credibility even from their people are now citing us as bad example. What a shame, is this the Nigeria that we all use to be proud of? Is this the same country that liberated Siera leon, Liberia, Sudan, Congo, and other countries accross the world? When our sisters were abducted in Chibok by these beasts, the federal govt after the disgraceful incident, sought the help of an expert in the field of negotiation with terror groups. Dr Stephen Davis came all the way from Australia to rendere his service and secure the release of the abducted girls. It was a good idea, after all at that time, any idea was worth trying. Last week these Federal govt negotiator came out and said that if the govt wants to end this madness, let the supponsors of these terror group be arrested. Indeed it is logical to cut off their means of funds and arms. As a citizens that had been praying hard to see the end of these endless killings and destructions, I was expecting the next day after the revelation these people who were alleged to be supponsoring these act of criminality will be pick up by our security forces, but unfortunately up to today, nothing of such has happen. What then are we doing as a country? How do we expect other nations to assist us in the fight against terrorism when those who are alleged to be financing these animals are moving arround freely, infact with protection from the tax payers money. It is shameful, it is disgusting that Ali Sherriff his alleged accomplice Ehijirika has not been arrested. All we are saying is that let them arrest them, investigate them, if they are innocent, let them be cleared, and if they are guilty, then they should face the full wrath of the law. By doing so, it will insure justice to those who had lost their loved ones, those who lost their properties as a result of these act of terror in our beloved country. Anything short of that is an insult to the principles of justice, and outright disgrace to the country. Nobody should be seen to be abaove the law. If others can be arrested for similar crimes, then Ali Sheriff and others that had been mentioned by these negotiator should be arrested. We cannot afford to declare Nigeria as a Banana republic, where laws are not obeyed. We cannot afford to play politics with our lives, therefore, it is time for all citizens of Borno, the northeast and indeed the whole country to stand up and call for the arrest of whoever has hand in either participating, assisting, financing, or supponsoring these act of terror that had course so much destructions in the land. This is what we are asking from the security forces and indeed the federal govt. Let us all join hand and seek for justice for the victims of these act of agression.
