LIBERTARIAN CANDIDATE JOEY ROBINSON, SENDS CONGRESSMAN PALAZZO COPY OF ROUSSEAU, CONSITUTION Ocean Springs, MS, August 5, 2014– In response to Congressman Palazzo sending The Holy Bible to all members of congress, 4th Congressional District Libertarian Candidate Joey Robinson sends additional readings to Mississippi Congressional Delegation I applaud Congressman Palazzo for his sending of the Bible to all members of congress as I too find comfort and spiritual guidance when reflecting on the passages written there in. As an accompaniment I have included copies of Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s “The Social Contract” and as well the United States Constitution to the Mississippi delegation. It is my hopes that they will take from Rousseau’s sentiment that “To renounce liberty is to renounce being a man, to surrender the rights of humanity and even its duties.” Additionally that they should consult the constitution before voting on passage of legislation to ensure they are not encroaching on the rights of citizens or expanding government beyond its intended role.
