LIBERTY GROVE RAILROAD STATION -- This old picture from 1928 is of the depot in Liberty Grove, MD., which has been shared by Teresa Johnson Connelly. Her grandfather, Willard Bannister, was the station master. Her mother, Betty Bannister Weldy, is the baby, along with Lee Bannister, Vaughn Bannister, Ruth Bannister Garvin & Wanda Bannister Keller along with Willard Bannister. We added a photo of the Liberty Grove Station sign from a few years ago and a clip of the 1877 section of the Cecil County Atlas for the area, from the Library of Congress. Thanks Teressa for sharing the family photo. Its always exciting to see new images.
