***** LISTEN ***** Im going to share something with you that I have never heard anyone preach before... something very cool, yet very profound... We have all heard that the Law and its Ten Commandments were given to reveal the sin nature of man, specifically to the Jews, so that they would see the need for a savior (Jesus) and for Gods Grace; and thats all true... But there was an even GREATER reason why the Law was given to ONLY the JEWS by God... The MAIN reason why God gave the Law to the JEWS was so that it could be used against JESUS CHRIST as a way to send Him to the cross to pay for not only THEIR sins, but for the sins of the Whole World.... Even though Jesus was declared innocent by Pilate, the Jewish Law still demanded that Jesus be put to death.... This was not done by the Jews, but it was done by GOD Himself so that many would be saved by the shedding of blood, through His own Son, Jesus Christ... Had the Jews just been under the normal Roman laws of the land, Jesus would have never been condemned to the cross... Thats the real reason why the Law of Moses was given to the Jews! ...Selah.
