LISTENER E-MAIL: PHONE PROPOSAL My boyfriend Matt and I have been together for two years. We live in separate states but have been discussing me leaving my job and apartment and moving in with him. Well, he proposed last night … over the phone! You can imagine my shock (and horror). I was totally insulted that he thought this kind of proposal was appropriate. So much so that I actually started crying and telling him how disappointed I was. He said he thought it sounded romantic and he’s sorry that he screwed it up. Now I feel bad for hurting his feelings, but come one! Proposing over the phone?? What do you think of this? ~Erica~
