LITTLE BEAR LIVES!! Im still baffled that we were able to pull of this impossible endeavor. We found the right doctors, raised the money and Little Bear did his job by surviving. The odds were severely stacked against him but he pulled through. Some how, some way, he found the strength to pull through and with flying colors no less. I have to admit that I did not think hed make it. I saw what he looked like after the surgeries and their was very little life in his eyes. He had looked like he was struggling and I didnt want to keep him in that pain unnecessarily. The doctors too had little hope but a little hope is all that was needed. The infection is being monitored carefully but is under control and no longer life threatening. Hes at his foster home and going to spend the next few weeks getting better and readying for adoption. Im still in disbelief...its hard to believe thats its the same dog. Im so grateful to all of you for contributing and for sending positive vibrations hour way. Thank you.
