**LONG** Marriage works best when the Man is the Man & the Woman is the Woman. God has roles & at the end of the day it is the mans Responsibility to take care of his family. Bishop R.J. Burt Sr. Such powerful words & I thank God for hearing them, it is what I saw in my Grandparents who have been married for over 60 years! However more often than not this is not the case anymore. Although I am not married now, I am thankful for all of my life lessons, that has prepared me for whats too come :) Often Ive heard I should accept things or work with things that I know dont line up nor come close to Gods plan or will for my life. Im honestly shocked at God said you will be my wife & Im ready now when as a man you arent in a place to have a wife. At this stage in life, I will not openly walk into a relationship with anyone whos life is in disarray & completely out of order. I will not carry the financial weight, I will not allow anyone to live with me & my son, I will not be the strong dominate woman who will hold a man down who is not holding himself down. Accept a man who doesnt have his own place or car. Things have become so convoluted, to where a women with standards is looked at as a trip or not the type to support a man. Its 1 thing if you are married & you have to support your spouse if life happens because it does! And someone will read this & have opposing views which is ok or say just because a man doesnt have etc..etc.. Doesnt mean hes not a good person, which is true! However as a 42 yr old woman, who God was Gracious & Merciful enough to bless me to begin again, I embrace the path that lies ahead for me, standing on my truths & standards.
