We are a guide to Floridas Farms and Ranches, Markets, Farm-Friendly Restaurants & More. Position Description Florida Food & Farm is seeking extremely motivated and independent outside sales representatives to join our dynamic team. Our outside sales representative is responsible for building and servicing his/her territory by developing business relationships with potential and existing accounts that will benefit from our publication. Our client base is farmers, chefs, and consumers. JOB Responsibilities • Identify potential clients through prospecting, telemarketing, sales database management, CRM, and also networking • Call on potential clients by phone plus in person to present company products & services • Develop maintain referring relationships with partners • Meet or exceed agreed upon sales activity & sales targets • Record sales activity as well as results & complete weekly activity reports • Assist in the conversion process for new clients, including submission of complete paperwork for new clients • Work closely with Advertising Director to achieve client satisfaction • Demonstrate a strong work ethic & maintain regular attendance • Maintain ethical business practices • Participates in trade shows and conventions. Position Requirements •History of success and a minimum of 2-3 years of outside sales experience •Prior sales experience in magazine advertising •Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor •Strong organizational and time management skills •Goal oriented and results focused •Ability to demonstrate the value of our magazine •Capacity to learn and be trained on selling techniques •Good driving record and reliable transportation
