LORD, when things look dark and it seems that circumstances are blowing their hardest against me, help me--especially then--to keep the destination You have shown me in my heart and mind. At times I have done just what they did: I feared for my life and thought You had left me to sink or swim on my own. But in their darkest moment You were there, just as You are for mine. It is the same now as then: I am not alone, and I have not been abandoned. So, when I begin to sink into fear and doubt--especially then--help me trust that You are there and will help me reach that destination as I trust in and rely on You. In Jesus name, Amen.
