LOS ANGELES, CA - DP, GAFFER, SOUND MIXER The shoot is a filmed interview for between Georges Bermann (producer of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless, Be Kind Rewind, The Science of Sleep and many Michel Gondry music videos) and legendary producer/studio chief Mike Medavoy (most recently Black Swan, Shutter Island and RoboCop). The interview is for the nonprofit educational show Producer Insight, started by Bermann and producer Catalaine Knell (formerly of Scott Free Productions- she is famous for being the first person to option a Tarantino script- True Romance) Heres an example of a past show: youtube/watch?v=9Yx5oPfuNMg The shoot is scheduled for February 20 at Mikes office in Phoenix Pictures headquarters adjacent to Century City. It will be a 4 hour shoot, exact hours TBD. We are looking for: a highly skilled DP, gaffer and sound person. Due to the nonprofit educational nature of this program, we can only offer credit. Also because of the nonprofit, educational nature of the show, its essential that the crew bring suitable equipment for the shoot. For equipment were looking for: -A good lav mic, like a Tram mic, with power supply and XLR connection -An audio recorder to attach the mic to so that you can record dual audio during the interviews and then sync up in post. So during the interview you have the recorder running the whole time getting good sound and then the camera just records the reference sound that you sync up afterwards. If the sound person has a better idea, thats cool too.
