Land. A burning unavoidable issue. Those who were not victims of Colonial land grab as a race will never understand the emotions that another race go through. It is hurting. It is soul cutting. I hope I am not misinterpreted but I care less. Yes I am EFF. Unfortunately there is no white man whose land was taken by force. The race has always victimised indigenous people of the world. Columbus the Murderer a hero. I am not therefore crucifying the current generation. But I am saying that. Put yourselves in the shoes of a villager and the poor landless people. Who knows for a fact the hectares of fertile land that was once their ancestors. Think the land issue the same you think of fear of loosing your home due to debt or retrenchment or bad investment and sheriff coming to kick you out. That is what happened in Sophiatown. Manenburg. And through out the beautiful country called South Africa. The solution is not as easy as ABC. BUT ITS AN ISSUE THAT WILL NEVER BE POSTPONED FOREVER. Give back our Land. The song can only be understood when you imagine yourself on the disadvantaged side of argument and not on the defensive.
