Large White-Tailed buck Spikey is seen aggressively rubbing his antlers on the branches of a Mesquite tree (Prosopis glandulosa) on the Northwest Ridge, western sector of La Bota Ranch near Laredo, Texas - October 25, 2014 @ 5:50 p.m. Afterwards, Spikey attends a licking branch then scrapes the dirt underneath the branch, urinates on the scrape, then attends the licking branch again. Meanwhile, two other smaller 8-point bucks also use the tree (one rubbing his antlers), and large buck Eridanus stands in the foreground in front of the camera. Also a small spike buck is briefly seen, also getting into the action at a licking branch. Activate the HD control at lower right for high definition video.
