Last 48 hours were terrible. A pathology report indicated that Ive diabetes (I know, I know, Im overweight, lethargic!!). Received hundreds of what to do and what not do lists within hours! Every single Bangladeshi appears to be a diabetes expert! It was only my mother who didnt believe it against all odds (yes, mothers are like that!). She asked me to do another test, only this time with a pathological centre/hospital which only deals with the disease. Lucky enough, there is a specialised hospital for diabetes in my hometown, and the latter report I had received from there showed no trace of it. Sigh! What a relief! And special thanks to my mother(though we dont remain on the same page in most cases! :-P)
