Last Nights Update: We just took a ride up on the road to see what things look like at night. Small fires are clearly visible from where we were parked on the road above and past Blue Feather Falls looking south back at the ridges above BBL. We then went further south to a wide shoulder where the fire teams have their smaller trail trucks parked above Hermitage and St. Michaels. We hung out there for a while and watched as some crowns flared up at two major burn areas. There was enough smoke to block the view of the moon. From a distance the fires do not look that big but I am pretty sure they have gained in size and intensity in the short time that we have been here. It was more windy today than yesterday and that has contributed to the fires size and movement.Even though we received the evac order it feels like the fire is a day or two away from being visible on BBLs ridges.
