Last night I was probably the closest Ive ever been to getting shot..and I was outside my home in Brentford ! A friend and I returned to my flat after a night out, after parking the car, we walked to my flat - but I couldnt find my house keys-so i was digging in my bag all the way..to no avail. I went back to check the car..left my mate outside the flat. As I was about to cross to go to my car(the keys were in there) a big black van screeched to a halt in front of me..out jumped a fully armed and flak jacketed police armed response/SWAT team. They pointed there f***ing machines guns at me and asked what I was doing.I told them , I gave them my name details etc etc. but they were so twitchy when i said i had id and reached for my wallet in my pocket -i was ordered not to move my hands - my friend was now being questioned - my bag searched-another armed team arrived.i had shorts, tight tee and bright orange trainers on - didnt I look GAY? NO I HAD BEEN IDENTIFIED AS A MAN WHO HAD WALKED DOWN THE SAME STREET EARLIER _ BRANDISHING A GUN !!! Luckily I was verified as me..And sheepishly we were released ..Now Im wondering if Id found my keys, been in my flat - would they have raided my flat, bashed down my door - possible. By the way - the previous night police stopped me in my hire car..for something dripping from my bumper!! It was water from a puddle..I hadnt done any driving mistakes - 2 nights in London 2 Police stops. Before aljaz I lived in London more than 20 years - with NO Police stops.Im a bit freaked. x
