Last night as we were frantically rushing through bed tie rituals because it was late, and everyone was starting to get a little fussy.....ok not everyone mostly Elvis... ;) I heard Ella and Grady chatting on my bed.....Grady said something about , Ella you can make it to the next level. Thinking they were playing the Kindle which I had just taken away an hour before and given my best Mom speech ever about how they needed to use their imagination sometimes......I went in expecting to have to come up with some other life lesson about not listening to your mom. When I walked in I see them both staring down at something, like it was life or death, I cleared my throat....an act which still strikes fear into the hearts of many former children including me ;) .....they whipped around, and what did I see............an Etch-A-Sketch sitting between them. Each one turning a nob...Ella looked up at me and said....This freakin game is so hard! I will NEVER win!! Grady said...No Ella we are making a picture, and this is old school (this was said with airqoutes) so its only in black and white. Its like what Mom used to play when video games werent invented yet. :) Ella looked at me and said...Mommy you so oooooolllld! Grady chimed in, Yeah like you must be like in your 50s by now. UGH! Little stinkers! But hey.....at least they were not playing the computer so thats a win.....but being classifed as 50s....we will be working on that next ;)
