Last night, before the start of the New York Rangers game, the Madison Square Garden held a moment of silence for the 2 slain NYPD Officers. This video brings a tear to my eye; not sure if its specifically the solidarity and fact that the entire Garden was silent, not even the occasional cough or sniffle, but it brought a tear to my eye because I realized this is more than just 2 officers murdered. This event reminded me of just after 9/11, when FD & PD were respected as heroes because NYC needed help, they called the PD/FD responded But now....These actions are destroying this great city and country. Saturday night, we almost had to call it 3 murders, but, by luck, the officer in the Bronx life was spared. A cop was killed that same night in Florida. We are in a new generation, the ME generation. Criminals now post on social media their intentions, this is a form of terrorism, their terrorizing with their posts/threats on a public forum. People are inspired by other nut jobs who post their intent to kill and the mentality is spread. That is why so many people are protesting, they cant think for themselves. Their ignoring evidence and facts or respecting a Grand Jurys decision because of a short video they saw on youtube. Im still left wondering, whats next? Where do we go from here. We are not at the bottom of the barrel yet. There are credible threats warned to the NYPD that lunatics are on their way with the intent to kill. Whats will today bring? (Via NYCFW)
